Looks like scott has already gotten rid of his Orange Gretsch drums. Still has the black ones if you are interested. Here's all the info about em:

The second set is finished in black sparkle nitron whith blonde maple bass drum hoops from the USA custom series, purchased spring of 2003 and finally arrived at my door in the fall of 2003. LONG wait butt well worth it. theese consist of 10x8 tom, 12x9tom, 13x10tom, 15x15tom, 16x16tom, 22x18 bass drum and 6xone half inch snare. Floor toms have legs, 10, 12 and 13toms are RIMS mounted. I used theese drums on stage for about 8 months, and they are beautiful and like brand new. The 10, and 12toms have never left the house. they have the barely played factory heads on them.

He's asking $5,000 for the set. You can email Scott if you have any further questions.

[Friday November 4th, 2005]
Here's a chance for you to own another piece of Reverend Horton Heat history. Scott Churilla is selling a couple of his drum sets. He's got an Orange Gretsch (the one in the "Live and In Color" DVD) as well as a Black Sparkle Gretsch set. Both sets have been on many tours and been seen on many TV shows. For more info on them please email Scott or myself with any questions you may have.

Also, if you have the Speed Channel on cable or satellite, the Nascar truck series races tonight at 9 PM CST. If you have the time check out car #76 driven by Blake Mallory. That's Jeff Milburn's car that he built and Rev. Horton Heat sponsors. There's a big RHH sticker on the back of the truck.

[Tuesday October 25th, 2005]
Check out the new Reverend Horton Heat song, "Turkey Gotta Gobble," written for Boston Market who will be featuring the song in their new holiday ad campaign. You can hear it on their website www.bostonmarket.com and download it for free until Thanksgiving.

Just got this in from the folks at Yep Roc. "Heads up to all the loyal Reverend Horton Heat fans in the Los Angeles and Orange County area! Indie 103.1 FM will be giving away a grand prize package for the band's shows on 12/30 at House of Blues-Hollywood and 1/1 at House of Blues-Anaheim. The package will include two VIP tickets to the show, dinner for two and a Gretsch Electromatic Hollowbody guitar hand delivered and signed by The Reverend himself. In addition, Tower Records will host a special signing for the first 100 people to buy 'Revival' at each show. So keep your radios tuned to 103.1 and get to the show early to snag a spot for the signing!"

Got another treat for everyone today. Jim sent me the following photos of him playing with Screamin' Jay Hawkins. He said the photos were taken in the mid to late 80s.

[Thursday November 4th, 2004]
Here is a call going out to you all for some help. We wanna add your pictures to the merchandise section with you modeling your favorite piece of merch. That's right, we want your pictures. Right now all we have is a close up of the design so you know what you're getting when you purchase something. We want people to be able to see how the stuff fits and also put your beautiful mugs on the site. Please email all your pictures to andrew@reverendhortonheat.com with "MERCH IMAGE" in the subject line. If you don't have "MERCH IMAGE" in the subject line we'll probably miss it. We'll set it up so each item will have a gallery you can click through. Not all images will be used for the gallery and it's up to our sole decision which ones will get used and if any black bars need to be added to the photos. Only thing we ask is that you please make sure that the item can be seen clearly in the photo. Other than that you can do what ever you want in the photo. Thanks a bunch and we look forward to seeing some good photos.

[Sunday October 2nd, 2004]

[Tuesday June 29th, 2004]
Welcome to the new layout of the website. We figured the release date of the new album would be a good day to launch a new website as well. There is a lot of flash on this one so make sure you have the most recent version installed on your computer. If anything doesn't work for some reason please let me know so i can fix it.

been meaning to post this for a while but the Rev did an interview with Meanstreet magazine and it's posted on their site if you wanna head on over a read it.

News that just came in, the July 13th show in Sacramento, CA is now going to be at the Boardwalk rather than the Colonial Theatre. So go out an buy some tickets.

[Sunday June 13th, 2004]
Go over to eBay to bid on the Rev's Ford once again. only a little bit of time left. Sorry for the delay in getting this posted. Here is the direct link to the auction.

[Friday April 23rd, 2004]
So the info from Yep Roc keeps coming in. Today they announced the name and release date for the next RHH album. The new studio album is titled “Revival” and is to be released on June 29, 2004. “Revival” is a return to Jim's roots - musical and geographical. "I got this new lick called the 'hurricane' and I call back on the hurricane on this album for the sake of keeping things really rockin,'" says Heath. For you guitarheads, he's also introducing a new "top secret lick," so listen up! Lyrically, the album's themes "run from death to silly," says Heath, who lost his mother earlier this year. ("Someone in Heaven" is written for her). "Indigo Friends" deals with a friend's heroine addiction, while "Calling in Twisted" is about calling in sick to work ("It's about using the fake cough when you make the call," says Heath, laughing). The album was recorded at Last Beat Studio in Deep Ellum and renowned producer/engineer Ed Stasium is currently mixing the album. What a great way to start the summer off.

[Wednesday April 21st, 2004]
Just wanted to let you all know that the Forum is back. The fine folks at Yep Roc Records set up the board for us and this will be the main message board from here on out or until we get on hosted on the site. I've also had a bunch of people asking me about the show this weekend in Ft Worth. The show is still happening. Gates open at 11am and the Rev will be playing at about 10:30pm. It's the 1st Annual Ft Worth Weekly Spring Rally so if you call the venue up looking for tickets ask about that.

[Thursday April 1st, 2004]
Welcome to April. Got a couple of things I wanted to bring to your attention. First I got an email from Scott's brother telling me about this cool video they got over on the Vic Firth website (www.vicfirth.com). They have Scott talking about his influences as well as his practice routine. Go over and check it out. Also wanted to pass along the auction # for the Rev's blue 1950 Ford that is currently up on ebay. The # is 2470888973. Head on over for all the details and, if the price is right, place a bit.

[Wednsday March 3rd, 2004]
Howdy Cats and Kittens,

I hate to do this but I've got to sell my 1950 Ford Two-Door Custom. The auction is going to be on E-Bay. The start date is March 31, 2004. When we get the tracking number or whatever they call it on E-Bay, we'll post it on reverendhortonheat.com.

This car has some rust issues but really not that bad. The descriptions on E-bay will mention all of the things wrong with the car. There will be pictures of the rust spots and the not so hot looking, yet strong running engine. The two best thing about the mechanics of the car are that the brakes work very well and the wiring is like new. This car is now an older restoration of Frank Staten in Little Elm, Texas. Jeff Milburn of Dallas, Texas has reengineered many things on this car too. Needs a good home. I'm going to miss this car.

Thanks for the gig,
Jim "Reverend Horton" Heath

[Tuesday February 10th, 2004]
Real quick, just wanted to let you all know that the Rev is on the cover of the March Issue of Rockabilly Monthly Magazine. You can either order it from their site or check for it at your local shop. It should be out around the 17th of this month.

Also, for all you computer nerds, such as myself, out there on Myspace I created a group so all Rev fans can connect and hook up. Just search for user email info@reverendhortonheat.com and add em as a friend.

[Saturday January 24th, 2004]
Hope you all had a fun and safe New Years Eve. Things have been super busy for me and am just now getting the chance to make some updates and answer all my emails. Just a quick note that there is an older interview with Jim that just got posted online. You can go check it out over at www.turnupspeed.net. If all goes well I'll finally try and get the fourms back up as well as a video from the Hootenanny from a few years back. Thanks you guys and take care.

[Wednsday December 17th, 2003]
Just wanted to quickly say that the show on December 20th at the Ridglea Theatre in Ft Worth has been rescheduled for January 30th, 2004. Sorry for any inconvenience.

This will also probably be the last update of this year. We all hope that you and your loved ones have a safe holiday season.

[Monday December 1st, 2003]
Howdy Cats and Kittens,

I hate to do it, but I've got to sell my beautiful 1950 Ford. Friends, if there's one thing I've learned from this car thing is that what you own, actually owns you. I love being owned by this car. I've been owned by this car for ten years give or take. The reason for selling? I've got another old car project that I now must see through.

My Fifty Ford has many modifications. Chevy 305 with 350 heads, Corvette cam-shaft, Auto Matic Transmission, Nova rear-end, Holly four-barrell, custom radiator, brand new gas tank, new wireing(Ron Francis), GM Steering column with banjo steering wheel. Moon gages installed into a "filled in" custom dash. New Moon gas gauge. Air-conditioning does not work but used to and could. "Briz" bumpers. "Posies" leaf springs on rear with lowering blocks, sway bar. Front is lowered with dropped spindles from Fat Man Fabrications. Disc brakes on front. Car has brake booster. This car's brakes are very good. Body modifications include, shaved door handles, shaved side spears with electric motors that open the doors. Bucket seats from a Camaro I think. What's the worst thing about this car? Some rust in body is starting to creep in a couple of places, but it's easily fixable and barely noticeable. What's the best thing about this car? The wiring is great. And, the brakes work great, which is a great thing to have when you put a powerful motor in an old low car. This car has been referred to in my songs, directly or in-directly. It's appeared with Reverend Horton Heat in videos "One Time For Me", and photographed with the band for Rolling Stone magazine. I wish I still had that issue. It's an older restoration (garage stored) that is a real head-turner still, but, with some interest and tender loving care, it could be real, real good. Light tourquoise with white interior. Runs, drives looks cool. Look for it on E-Bay soon. We'll post the date it's going up for sale soon.

Thanks for the gig, Jim "Reverend Horton" Heath

[Monday November 24th, 2003]
As you can see the site has a new look to it. Hope you like this version better than the last one. We got Jennifer from www.watchmedesign.com to come up with the layout and such. Big thanks go out to her. She and I have been working on making sure that things are all up and running smoothly before we got the new design up for you all to see, but we may have missed some things. If you notice any broken links, missing images or pages not loading correctly send me an email and let me know so I can fix it.

Also, tomorrow (or today depending on which time zone you are in) is the day the new DVD comes out. I suggest you go out and get it. I already got a copy and it's super good. The quality of it is amazing. From what The Rev told me is that show was super hot in the venue and it shows. Go out and pick it up at your local music store. Thanks a bunch and Keep On Truckin.

[Tuesday November 11th, 2003]

Now time to let you all know the answer to the trivia question, and tell you who won. The correct answer to "Who drew the Rat Fink on Jimbo's Bass?" is none other than long time RHH friend Johnny Ace. Out of all the submissions only one person got it correct. Congratulations go out to Shane Swenson of Titusville, FL for getting it right. He of course gets an autographed "Lucky 7" promo poster as well as what ever other goodies I got. Do not fear though cause you will have another chance to win. Keep an eye on the site for more info on a new trivia question. That's about it for now. Don't forget about the DVD coming out in a few weeks. Thanks a bunch and Keep On Truckin.

That's about it for now. Keep On Truckin.

REV. HORTON HEAT SPREADS THE GOSPEL WITH LIVE RECORDING
AT JANUARY 3 & 4 HOUSE OF BLUES/HOLLYWOOD SHOWS

FIRST EVER LIVE CD DUE FOR RELEASE IN 2003

SPECIAL TICKET PRICE AND INCENTIVES ANNOUNCED

HOLLYWOOD, CA – That most-dangerous Texas trio, Reverend Horton Heat, led by the right Rev. of the same name, has announced a special live recording of the band’s upcoming House of Blues/Hollywood shows on January 3 and 4, which will be released in 2003 as a first-ever official live album.

The band also announced a special low-ticket price for both shows of only $10. In addition, anyone that presents a ticket stub from Reverend Horton Heat’s New Year’s Eve show at the House of Blues in Anaheim can get in for free. This almost unheard of offer is being given as a holiday present from the band to its loyal fans, which’ve been known to travel hundreds of miles to see the group perform.

With the Reverend on lead vocals and guitar, Jimbo Wallace on doghouse bass and Scott Churilla on drums, the Reverend Horton Heat is continuing its endless tour of the country in support of the band’s latest CD, Lucky 7, spreading the inspirational message of fast cars, fast women, free-flowing booze and the best paint-peeling rock ‘n’ roll music heard on the planet.

On this current tour, the Reverend Horton Heat is also continuing a practice established several years ago of playing multiple dates at smaller venues in as many markets as possible, bringing a special up-close and personal feel to their barn-burning live shows.

Also, don't forget about the contest going on. Send in those photos of your sweet ass ride for the Rev to look at and judge. Winner gets $100 bucks. Come on, it's that easy.

Last but not least i want to thank everyone who has sent in old tour date info and made the list pretty filled in. Please keep sending them in.

[Saturday October 26th, 2002]
Howdy, time for the monthly update once again. I'll try to get these things done at the beginning of the month rather than the middle or end from now on. First thing on the table is the new design. If you have any problems with anything let me know. We'll get it fixed right away. Second is the tour dates. Hope everyone is going out and enjoying the shows. I now have it set up to where you can purchase the tickets online. You're not buying them directly from us, but from the ticketing agency that is in charge of the show. Wanted to make it a little easier on you guys to get tickets. As you may have noticed i also added the "Past Tourdates" section. I'm planning on making a list of every show the Rev and boys have ever played but i need your help. I got all the shows i've ever been to added to the list and this is where you come in. If you could please email me a list of shows you have been to. I know you all have been to your share of shows in the past so send em along. Third i got an email about a 3 hour-long RHH mini-marathon on the radio. It's taking place on WBWC 88.3FM from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio. Do not fear though, even if you don't live near Ohio you can still listen online. It's all gonna go down on Sunday, November 3rd from 10am-1pm EST. Head on over to the WBWC 88.3FM website for more details. And the big news i got is the announcement of a NEW CONTEST That's right ladies and gentlemen. We again want to see what you all drive out there. Head on over to the contest section for more details on how to win. That's about it for now. Be good to each other and have a safe and fun Halloween.

Hope you all took time out yesterday to spend with friends and family. Can't believe it's already been a year. Quick update to let you know some of the tour dates changed around. Check the tour dates page for those. Also wanted to let you all know the Official Reverend Horton Heat mailing list is now up and running. Head on over to the mailing list page for more details. Will not be many updates for a while cause i'm busy working backstage on new content for the site. Will have a new design (yes another one) as well as some features missing only to be replaced by ones that are bigger and better. take care.

Just added a bunch of new tour dates. The new dates will keep the guys busy up through the end of October. The band is currently gearing up to head out on the road again with the first date of the tour being in El Paso Texas this coming Tuesday July 3rd. Keep checking in here for updates on new dates as they come in. Remember, it's not official until you see it in the tour dates section. That's about it for now. Hope to see a few of you at the Hootenanny in San Diego. Keep On Truckin.

I finialy got all the old Rev Updates up on the site. Go read em again for the 500th time since I don't know when/if we will be getting any new ones. :-)

Here is some info on an upcoming collection of Johnny Cash tributes:

"Hank Williams III, Reverend Horton Heat, Robbie Fulks, Raul Malo and others will appear on "Dressed in Black," a Johnny Cash tribute record that will be released September 10th. The eighteen-track album will include twelve Cash compositions and six songs that the Man in Black popularized, including "Jackson" (recorded by Mandy Barnett and BR5-49's Chuck Meade) and "Pack Up Your Sorrows" (performed by Bruce Robison and Kelly Willis). "Dressed in Black" was co-produced by Meade and former Cash bassist Dave Roe. This summer, another Cash tribute, featuring songs covered by Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan, will also be released."

The track listing is unknown at this time but as soon as we find out we'll let you know. Word.

[Saturday June 1st, 2002]
Sorry for the lack of Updates. Not much has been going on in the world of the Reverend Horton Heat and my computer died 2 weeks ago and i just got it fixed about 15 min ago. The guys are home now after a good four months of touring. They will be hitting the road the begining of July and will be heading to Canada for the majority of the month. I added a few link updates to some recent interviews and a link to Jason "King" Kendall's new band The Deterrents so go check em out. Keep On Truckin.

[Wednsday May 1st, 2002]
Added some more dates includng a 3rd Hootenanny date in good ol San Diego. There are a bunch of Canada dates added as well. Keep On Truckin.

[Friday April 19th, 2002]
As you can see, I have been slaving away (well not really) on a new look for the site. I figured with the new album comes a new look for the site. If you happen to find anything not working correctly please let me know. Now for the fun stuff.

We thought it would be fun for not only the fans, but the band as well to have the fans help the band write their bios. What we are gonna ask you guys is to email either Patty or I 5 questions in which you want to ask the band. We will take the top, say 15 or 20, questions and give em to the band. They will then answer them and that will be their bio. You will have till May 10th to send in your questions so that way the guys will have something to do in their time off rather than just watch tv.

Keep an eye out for the next issue of Big Brother Magazine. There is a rather funny interview with Jim in it. Talk about the real Jim, burning down a golf course, and the normal stuff.

CNN's Music On The Road will air a segment on Reverend Horton Heat on Sunday, April 28th. The segment will air on the Headline News at 9:45pm, 11:45pm and 1:45am EST.

Keep On Truckin.

[Tuesday April 16th, 2002]
Just when I said there was nothing going on right now in the world of the Reverend Horton Heat we get a new shipment of tour dates. The new batch of dates bring us up through the end of July. Majority of July will be spent in the state of California includin 2, yes 2, Hootenanny shows. Last week of July is going to be spent with our friends in the Great White North. And Just to clear things up the guys are taking majority of May and the entire month of June off. There will be no shows durring this time. Keep On Truckin.

[Monday April 15th, 2002]
Not Much going on right now in the world of the Rev Horton Heat. The guys had a few day off that were filled with dentist appointments, golf, workin on cars and relaxin with the family. But, now they are back out doing what they do best, Play Live. Currently on the road with Nashville Pussy and Tiger Army. If you live West of the Mississippi catch em while they are in town. I added a few new interviews over in the link section of the site. Also added a few reviews of "Lucky 7" which can be found on the "Lucky 7" page of the Discography. I'll soon be putting all the press stuff on one easy page. That's it for now. Keep On Truckin.

[Thursday March 27th, 2002]
Venue Change on the 4/16 show in Fort Collins TX. It's now going to be an all ages show at the Aggie Theatre. I do believe all the old tickets will still be honored at the new venue but i would double check that with the new venue to be sure. That's about it for now. Keep On Truckin.

[Monday March 18th, 2002]
Message Board is back up and rockin for everyone to start postin again. Sorry about that. Lets hope it don't happen again. If it does hold tight and we'll get it fixed. Also, Tiger Army has officialy listed on the tour dates page. They are gonna be on the last part of the current tour along with Nashville Pussy. That is all for now. Keep On Truckin.

[Friday March 15th, 2002]
REVEREND HORTON HEAT ON THE CONAN O'BRIEN SHOW TONIGHT.

As for the message board, it has been locked by the server. The host admin is out of town at the SXSW convention with his band and when he gets back the board will be back up. It's out of my hands at the moment. But don't worry, it will be back. Keep On Truckin.

[Thursday March 14th, 2002]
As a bunch of you have noticed, the message board is a little jacked up right now. It's not going away we are just having a little glitch with the server. We are working on trying to get that fixed ASAP and hope to have you all start posting again in no time. Older messages may be lost but i'm not too sure yet.

Also would like to point out that the 3/26 show in Gansville Florida has been cancled, but at the same time the previously cancled date in Jacksonville on 3/25 at the Marquee Theater has been re added. So a little switching of dates and such there.

Last but not least a reminder that the boys are going to be on the Conan O'Brien show tomorrow evening on NBC. Make sure you check your local listings for times and channels. That's about it for now. Word.

[Monday March 4th, 2002]
Not too much news to update on. Just wanted to let you all know that the Salt Lake City show is now an All Ages show. Bring the kids, we all know they need a good healing from the Rev. Keep on Truckin.

[Friday March 1st, 2002]
Lucky 7 hit stores on Tuesday and it seems from reading the messageboard that everyone is digin it. If you have not yet picked up the album make sure you do sometime this weekend. It is ohh so good, like we all knew it would be. The boys are out on tour now promoting the new album and i wanted to make a point the Detroit show tomorrow. The Detroit show at the Majestic Theatre on Saturday March 2nd is ALL AGES. Somewhere people are saying it's 18+ but that is not correct. If you have any questions or problems tell the people at the venue that i said it's cool for you to get into the show. If they have a problem with that they can bring it up with me. Keep on Truckin.

[Saturday February 23th, 2002]
Just wanted to let you know that I'm working on changing some technical stuff with the site right now. If something should not go right and the site goes down for a bit don't worry. We will be back up and running in a day or so. I don't expect anything to change or go wrong so you might be able to just forget this news update all together. On another note, Lucky 7 comes out next week. Make sure you go and buy it when stores open. It truly is a great album and you will not be disappointed. Keep on Truckin.

[Sunday February 17th, 2002]
Kind of late notice and i'm sorry about that, but the Rev's new song "Like a Rocket" from "Lucky 7" is the official theme song for the Daytona 500 which will be raced today. You can download the song off of the Artemis Records website. The lyrics have been changed to fit the Daytona 500 but it's still a very rockin song. Remember only a little more than a week before "Lucky 7" hits stores. Keep on Truckin.

[Wednsday February 6th, 2002]
Just had a few things to change. A little bit of things changed on the Tour Dates, Added a Voice Mail phone number that you can call and leave messages on, and also added a link to a recent interview with Jim in the Maximum Ink Magazine. Not much else going on. Only 20 more days till the new album is out in store. Keep on Truckin.

[Friday February 1st, 2002]
Hey all. Here is some info i got from Epic Records Germany:

We will be releasing "Lucky 7" on 25.2.02 in Germany. The album will be available via Artemis/Epic/Sony Music Distribution.

In addition "Like a rocket" will be featured on the Rolling Stone (German Issue) covermounted CD "New Voices".

The record got a 4 star review in their march issue:

"laut, schnell und out of control. hard rockin? rockabilly mit einer prise punkrock... fetter als elvis, cooler als james dean."
ROLLING STONE **** (4 Stars)

here is the englisch version
